Presumably you've been sent here by a message received from my mail server. This document hopes to answer some of the more frequent questions associated with my mail rejection policies. * Your email message was determined to be spam, based either on the content of the message, or by one or more file attachments that came with the message. * If you feel that the classification of your message as spam is unwarranted, you are encouraged to contact me (rbowen@rcbowen.com) for further details. Include with your message an indication of what time and date your message was sent, and what the subject line was. This will help me determine, from the log files, why your message was rejected, and what we can do to avoid that happening again. * We reject all messages with a something.zip file attachment. This is, entirely too often, a virus delivery mechanism * We reject any message with a file attachment that appears to be an executable file of any description * If you appear to have gotten a rejection notice for a message which you did not send, we apologize. It is very common for spam and viruses to be sent with a forged "From:" address, so that the bounce messages go to the wrong place.
