Rebooting phone, again

As I mentioned earlier, my phone has been rebooting randomly. I took it in, and the person there cleaned it, and said that was the problem. This seemed to work for a few days. Then it started rebooting agian, mostly when someone calls me, which is not good timing. I've missed a lot of important calls.

So, I went back today, and got a more clueful person, who affirmed my belief that there was a software bug. He updated me from version 17 to version 20. We'll see if this helps.

So, for those of you who are having similar problems, this is a Kyocera Sprint phone. I don't have a model number, but it looks like the 2345 that they have on the web site.

Also, I learned that if you dial *2[talk] and wait, you can download software updates yourself. Good to know, hmm?

ok, two remarks. One, I've since found out that dialing *2 usually causes the phone to *start* to download software updates, and then disconnect, leaving you with a very attractive paperweight. Secondly, my phone is *still* rebooting periodically. I wonder if this might have something to so with the fact that it thinks it is running version 12 of the software, not the promised 20.
